Dr. Ethan M. Weiner is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. Dr. Weiner’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, IP due diligence, and portfolio strategy.Dr. Weiner received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law where he was the Senior Articles Editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and won the Prosser Prize for Patent Prosecution. Prior to law school, he received his Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where his doctoral research focused on biomolecular structure, protein dynamics, and protein-small molecule interactions.
