Currently working full time in the agriculture and food production industry at Traders Hill Farm as the Aquaculture Technician. Managing all aquaculture operations on an aquaponic farm that produces commercial volume of romaine lettuce to Northeast Florida. Six years of experience working in controlled agriculture, specifically in aquaponic and hydroponic growing facilities. A farmer by day, and a Junior Khru Apprentice and coach at North Florida Muay Thai by night. Before working full time at Traders Hill Farm and coaching Muay Thai, I attended Jacksonville University for my undergrad. In April of 2022 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability. While Attending Jacksonville University I was apart of the JU Men’s Rowing Team and competed at the Division 1 collegiate level all four years of college. At the end of my senior season, I was named the “Most Improved Athlete” for the 2022 year. In the last semester of my undergrad, I conducted research on food deserts in Northeast Florida and how community gardens could create an alleviation affect. This research was presented at Jacksonville University’s first ever GIS Conference. My career goals are to innovate traditional agriculture methods into more sustainable methods to feed people in a rapidly growing population. Pervious job experience in working at Omni Resorts at the Amelia Island Plantation (2017-2018) being an aquaponic greenhouse attendant. Responsibilities included general system hygiene, plant and fish health, and maintenance of the greenhouse.
