I'm from San Diego, CA and am currently a finance student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I'm a driven student and high achiever in everything I take responsibility in. Being someone who is a strong communicative leader, as well as personable and organized, I fit into a number of roles in many industries. Finance is my industry of choice because of my passion for financial literacy and the creativity behind developing the best plan for an individual that will lead to the most success. I believe that my strengths show up perfectly in the finance industry which is why I feel so comfortable there.I have started off well with high achievement in my first set of related finance and accounting courses for my degree. I want to take the knowledge I'm learning into an internship and/or job to develop the skills needed in the finance industry. My career of choice is financial planning, but I am looking for anything that will give me experience in any part of finance or accounting.
