Summary:In this role I managed the Quotation and Submittal process for a handful Winsupply companies. A major focus in this role was improving some existing automation scripts I written in a previous roles at Winsupply. My automation scripts were originally written in VBA and after learning Python rewrote them and added functionality. After reaping the benefit of this enhanced automation I turned my attention to learning full stack web development. This enabled me to build solutions for other departments in the company. Summary:My team I were selected by Winsupply Inc. to pilot a company-wide shared quotation and submittal office. This essentially meant we were asked to take our existing department, which operated on a local level, and scale it to a national level. In my role as team leader I defined our software needs then selected and configured our CRM system. I also developed our quality control process and enhanced our workflow through automation and resource sharing. I also acted as a business developer by securing service contracts with local Winsupply branches across the country that opted into our service. Summary: As a Quote and Submittal manager I sought to automate away as much of my work as possible. I was tasked with preparing estimates for hundreds of construction projects in the metro Atlanta area. I worked on commercial and industrial projects of all sorts.
