Cincinnati Public Radio’s Community Advisory Board is a volunteer group of interested listeners who meet three times per year to gather public comments and advise the station as to whether the programming and policies of the station meet the educational and cultural needs of the community.

OH-SFGL is a 501(C)4 Non-Profit.I have oversight of the our annual budget, recruitment and hires, actions, and serve as a spokesperson.We have been featured in numerous state and local media outlets, and our work has been recognized by local, state, and national leaders, elected officials, activists, and organizations.

Cincinnati Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney was re-elected as the top vote-getter out of ten candidates, earning 49,033 votes.As Deputy Campaign Manager, I oversaw our internship program; managed all digital operations, including Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, email campaigns, and paid digital ads; participated in mail review and drafted mail copy; organized volunteers and direct voter contact; coordinated endorsements, including from every state house delegation member, all elected county Democrats, Senator Sherrod Brown, Congressman Greg Landsman, and dozens of unions, PACs, and other organizations.

Created, designed, and implemented an educational awareness campaign to increase voter turnout in local school board races.Planned and hosted a candidate forum for Cincinnati Public Schools candidates, formed partnerships with community organizations, led a voter contact program targeting 5,000 voters. We canvassed each door, executed a direct mail program, and sent text messages via a P2P texting program.

Project support for a wide range of clients, including EngenderHealth, FP2030, and others. A focus on communications, digital support, project management and assistance, and conference planning for international and domestic clients.

Create, design, and format multiple pages using InDesign software each week. Assign content and articles to writers and staff covering current events, politics, local news, and international news while finding ways to connect it back to campus and make news relevant for our readers. Edited content and copy, oversaw staff, and more. Newswire swept the Ohio News Media Association awards during my time here, including earning first place in news coverage and an excellence in journalism award.

Writes and submits articles for publication in the US & World News section once a week on various current events, political happenings, and other issues as they arise.

Work directly with the candidate and Campaign Manager to set overall strategy and tone of the campaign. Coordinate digital strategy and execute a strong digital fundraising program. Advised and edited mail pieces. Led endorsement process, securing endorsements from Attorney General Eric Holder, numerous unions, advocacy organizations, and community leaders.

Assisted the Executive Director and other key staff in research and implementation around policy and tenant-related legal issues. Was directly involved in the research, preparation, outreach, and promotion of the "Roadmap to Black Homeownership."

Advised on all aspects of the campaign, with a focus on community outreach and expanding political connections while securing support from constituent groups and involved political leaders across the state.

Responsible for coordinating voter outreach and engagement for a county-wide race. One of four Field Organizers, reporting to the Director of Community Engagement. Coordinated canvassing and phonebanking events, recruited volunteers, personally made over 6,000 phone calls to voters.Organized in-person and online.

Cincinnati Indivisible is the Cincinnati chapter of Indivisible, a national network dedicated to fighting the dangerous Trump Agenda, and promoting progressive values.Coordinated management of all social media accounts and pages; writing, preparing, and releasing media advisories and press releases; promoting events; keeping members up-to-date; recruiting new members; and related responsibilities.
