An individual self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. I keep others engaged in conversation by asking interesting and thought-provoking questions. I'm a highly flexible and adaptable individual, having studied in Malaysia, the United Kingdom and the United States.I keep myself up to date in the fields of cognitive science, technology, user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation (CRO). Furthermore, I have a range of data analytical skills using various software packages such as R, Microsoft Excel, SPSS, SPSS Amos, Google Analytics and others.Previously, I worked as a UX and CRO Analyst at Jaywing to improve the UX of client's websites and to ultimately increase conversions specific to our client's business objectives. This is done through vigorous experimentation, data analysis, wireframing and application of psychological/behavioral principles learned from my degree. In 2022, I researched UX insights used by Castrol for their seamless voting platform which won an award by the European Sponsorship Association for "Best Use of Digital Channels".I've worked part-time as a research assistant in psychology at the University of Essex,. In addition, while working as a research intern for ICLIF, I independently learned a complex statistical procedure (factor analysis); the results of which have been published in an academic journal (Philosophy of Coaching: An International Journal), and adapted into a theoretical framework forming the basis for my former supervisor's book (System 3 Thinking by Peter J. Webb). I collaborated with Dr. Lisi to present my undergraduate dissertation to the European Conference for Visual Perception (ECVP) in 2021.
