I have dedicated services to the not-for-profit sector for close to 25 years. Effectively facilitating Audits and Tax filings, OMB Circular A-133/Uniform Guidance—as well as pension and HUD audits. It has also been a distinct privilege leading a team of specialists in CFR reporting and its respective rate setting methodology, Churches, Clinics and AHCF reporting etc. Many successful projects and ongoing services have been wat keep me invigorated to continue servicing the nonprofit sector. These projects include mergers and acquisitions, fiscal manuals, audit preparations, trend analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, administering government audits, cultivating fiscal departments and providing board trainings, building business models, negotiating with funding and government agencies, negotiating favorable rates and reimbursements, overseeing and coordinating financial policies and procedures. The value extends beyond the numbers and into what is best practices and good governance as appropriate for the respective organization. They have consistently been well accepted and have significantly improved his clients’ operations. To better service the community at large there were many articles I have authored on industry updates surrounding nonprofit interests.On many occasions there has been the opportunity to present and train groups of nonprofits, at forums such as government offices such as the NYC Mayor's office, law firms, other accountants, NYC BAR Association, AICPA, NYSSCPA, Colleges and Universities and Boards of directors. Recurring Chairman (former) of the NYSSCPA exempt organizations committee, active with the NYSCCPA nonprofit committee, NYC Interagency Council (IAC), The Coalition for Children with Special Needs, as well as the AICPA.
