I am a nursing student expecting to graduate in May of 2025 with my bachelors of science in nursing from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.I was elected president of the National Student Nurses’ Association at the 72nd annual NSNA convention in Orlando, Florida. As president of the NSNA, I plan to do everything possible to support all of our 50,000+ NSNA members across the country but working to improve our communication, transparency, and development of preliscensure nursing students.My future career interests lie in pediatric critical care. I have experienced the critical care world extensively during my time in the CVICU at the Cleveland Clinic, as well as clinical placements across Cleveland. However, the education capabilities and capacity to advocate for patients in unique ways is what really draws me to the pediatric world. I am originally from the state of Ohio— I was born in Toledo where I grew up for the first 8 years of my life, then I lived outside of Columbus for 5 years, and after moved to Traverse City, Michigan through the time I completed high school. Then I made my way back to Ohio to attend nursing school at CWRU. I have really enjoyed my time in Cleveland, and look forward to what the future holds for me and my career.
