Polymer scientist with a passion for synthetic chemistry and product development. I am currently working in the custom polymer development and manufacturing industry as Chief Chemist and Vice President at Scientific Polymer Products, Inc. I graduated with a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (recently rated #1 in Polymer Science by US News), where I endeavored to advance the field of stimuli-responsive molecular bottlebrushes. My main interests in chemistry are to study structure-property relationships in polymers, and leverage those properties to design new and useful materials.
