“Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” -Stephen CoveyEthan is currently Senior Standing at Oregon State University, pursuing an interest in both Financial Management, Business Process Management and Psychology. Starting work early, he developed a customer service footing and built a foundation for personal drive and accountability. At the age of 18, he co-founded a family owned Estate Sale company based in Beaverton, OR, paralleling his academic focus. This gave him practice with executive leadership, employee investment and retention strategies, and brand solidification. Here, he established a starting point that would spark a deep interest for business wellbeing and a passion for entrepreneurial success. At OSU, Ethan has taken various curricular and extracurricular initiatives to build upon this spark. Among these were leadership positions for a business his freshman year, independent study through additionally offered business programs, and re-sparking the University's forgotten Real Estate Club in his Sophomore year. After graduating with a Finance/Psych Degree, he plans to pursue his MBA with a focus in Marketing and Consumer Analytics to deepen his understanding of the psychology behind investments and financial behavior.
