Develop and teach courses to graduate level students in American Jurisprudence, Advanced Legal Writing, and Professional Development.

Curriculum Review, Assessment, and Development:• Lead the 5-year program and curricular assessment and strategic plan for external and internal review with ultimate submission to the University Provost. Assessment included interviews with faculty members, students and other stakeholders, analysis of program enrollment data, evaluation of program and course curricula, and recommendations to be incorporated into the strategic plan.• Co-drafted and presented program-wide curricular revision and realignment which was approved by the Dean’s Council and University Provost. Curricular changes were implemented in Fall 2014.• Lead and manage the annual program review for submission to the University Provost.Administration and Faculty Relations:• Collaborate with the Program Director and Associate Dean for New Initiatives to develop programs for student and resources for alumni.• Participate in strategic planning for marketing, recruitment, and other program initiatives.• Liaise with faculty members for faculty training and development.• Plan and coordinate faculty meetings.Student Relations:• Create, plan, and launch an advisor network for graduate and certificate students seeking employment.• Awarded grant to develop a digital profiles and LinkedIn initiative for students in collaboration with the Director of Career Services.

Strategy and Program Development:• Devise and implement career center strategy with senior university administration and faculty based on data and indicators, including employment market statistics and existing professional development opportunities to produce measurable results. • Developed and implemented Career Center communications strategy for all electronic communications to students across emails, newsletters, and social media platforms.• Draft, develop, and update content and educational materials for all Career Center workshops on topics including, resume drafting, cover letter drafting, informational interviewing, and preparing for on-campus recruitment. Employer & Community Relations:• Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders including government, business, and non-for-profit counterparts and law school stakeholders to create and maintain career and professional development opportunities. Training:• Provide strategic direction, manage, and train counseling staff on career counseling guidelines and professional development tools to compliment the first-year law student curriculum.Employment Outcomes:• Review, analyze, and present data relating to student employment outcomes and employer participation in on-campus recruitment programs.Technology & Social Media:• Lead Career Center in online initiatives, including the development and implementation of an online appointment system serving over 2000 law students and alumni.• Lead and manage social media platforms including Career Center Website (www.gwlawcareers.org), Twitter, and Facebook.Career Advising and Student Relations:• Advise and guide students and alumni in self-assessment, professional development, interviewing, developing and maintaining professional relationships, and drafting effective application materials.
