Ethel Baraona Pohl. Critical observer of the real world.Editora, crítica y comisaria. The New Architecture of the Collective (Ruby Press, 2017), Architecture is All Over (Columbia Books of Architecture, 2017), Inéditos 2017 (La Casa Encendida, 2017), Harvard Design Magazine y e-flux, entre otros. Entre las exposiciones que ha comisariado se encuentran ‘Adhocracy Athens’ (con César Reyes y Pelin Tan) para el Onassis Cultural Center, 2015, que recibió el Premio ADI Cultura 2016 y ‘Doce fábulas urbanas,’ actualmente abierta en Matadero Madrid (hasta Enero 2021). Desde el año 2016, dpr-barcelona es miembro de la plataforma Future Architecture, la primera plataforma pan-Europea de museos, festivales e instituciones dedicadas a promover la arquitectura.[ENG]Critic, writer and curator. Editor of Quaderns d’arquitectura i urbanisme from 2011–16, her writing appears in The Form of Form (Lars Muller, 2016), Together! The New Architecture of the Collective (Ruby Press, 2017), Architecture is All Over (Columbia Books of Architecture, 2017), Harvard Design Magazine, and Volume, among others.Her curatorial practice includes the role of associate curator for "Adhocracy", initially commissioned for the 2012 Istanbul Design Biennial and exhibited at the New Museum, NYC (May 2013) and Lime Wharf, London (summer 2013). Curator of the third Think Space programme with the theme "Money"'; the exhibitions Adhocracy ATHENS (Onassis Cultural Centre, 2015), winner of the ADI Culture Award 2016; and Twelve Cautionary Urban Tales (Matadero Madrid, 2020-21), among others. She has been Director of Foros, the architecture lecture series of the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture in 2018. Since 2016, dpr-barcelona has been a platform member of Future Architecture.
