I am the founding president of the International Caregivers Association. Previously I founded Remembering4You.com to help families find the most essential dementia caregiving information possible.I served over two decades in dementia care as a family caregiver for my late husband. I studied, wrote articles and books, taught dementia coaching, was often a keynote speaker and influenced administrators along the way to improve their services. Keynote speaker at the Alzheimer Society of Montreal (Canada) on dementia care and the LBGTQ community in the late fall 2023.My interest in the world of LTC began when I was a paralegal at Legal Services for the Elderly in Maine. That is where I personally visited a large number of homecare situations, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing communities.
