Optimization is my passion. Optimization is not just fine tuning of any system. Optimization is refactoring of any system into a new one which runs or works much more efficiently and meets the requirements of users of the system. In order to optimize effectively it is important to understand every aspect of system which you are optimizing. Tiniest detail should be known so optimization can be taken further which can make huge difference. Having a vast knowledge whether it is obsolote or not, and following latest technology is necessary for being able to optimize effectively.I have a good understanding of underlying database system which helps me to understand executing plans very accurately. When combined with my analytical approach I am able to optimize queries by morphing queries into another one without altering their semantic. I rewrite queries in order to fit my planned effective execution plan which yields higher performace by removing unnecessary operations and calculations or minimizing effects of bottlenecks. This skill allows me to design high performance ETL PL/SQL packages which are able to meet time constraints.In my past I have optimized systems which were web servers, mail servers. When I was programming construction related applications, i had remodeled mathematical formulations of construction theories in order to gain calculation speed.I am willing to continue data warehouse ETL operations which are very resource consuming. Todays ETL operations needs elegant approach and optimizations in order to run effectively and fulfill its duty. We are entering real-time ETL era and amount of processed data increases enourmously. Now, we don't even have time to structure the data. I am already using my optimization skills in this challenging area.
