Matt Ethington focused his career in the healthcare IT space after being diagnosed with Type I diabetes in 2001 at the late age of 30. His prior company grew to manage 45 Million electronic medical records, was awarded and published Best in KLAS, and received the coveted Phoenix Award. In addition to successfully leading the companies he has founded he has filed patents novel for utilizing smart phones and scoring algorithms to remotely monitor patients, is the author of a book on Chronic Care Management for Cardiologists, a guest lecturer and Executive Board Member at Kennesaw State University's Healthcare Management and Informatics Program, and a nationwide speaker and panelist on topics of healthcare IT, patient engagement, chronic care management and connected patient care.
