Starlink Direct-to-Cell Vehicle Software:• Designed and implemented a dual-satellite setup connecting beams from phase arrays to a single UE (phone) using networking, C++, gRPC, and distributed systems allowing for the simulation of a realistic multi-sat system• Engineered robust infrastructure for X2/S1 handovers (transition between phased array beams, both inter/intra-sat) testing using C++, python, and protobuf, allowing for the crucial development of handover in LTE communications• Redesigned satellite flight simulator to support dynamic beam scheduling, increasing testing flexibility by over 10x• Refactored querying of satellite telemetry data with Docker, ucp/tdp protocols, inducing a 30 % performance boost• Designed capability for high resolution frequency offset shifts and increased beam power control

• Implemented pure Radiative Equilibrium framework into CliMA atmospheric circulation model to increase atmospheric profile accuracy by 15%, facilitating analysis of how greenhouse gas fluctuations impact climate sensitivity• Created prognostic surface compatibility in 200+ possible atmospheric simulations to allow for a dynamic surface component of a model, including coupling with other models by leveraging Julia’s coupling and other capabilities• Restructured surface behavior in atmospheric codebase to improve performance using Software Development Life Cycle
