After secondary school I did a French Baccalaureate in Industrial Technologies and sustainable development. During this A level equivalent education, I had taken a specialisation in electronics. It taught me a great deal about digital telecommunication networks, fundamentals of electronic circuit design.During my Wind Turbine Maintenance course, I learnt a great deal about troubleshooting and problem-solving. I acquired skills in both mechanical and electrical fields, some were highly transferable, like using systems automation, sequential function charts and qualifying a B2V level in Electrical safety.Currently working at rigging services, my role is to work with a small team and keep the hire fleet equipment organised and in good condition as well as prepare rigging equipment lists for clients. From fault-finding, repairing and troubleshooting, to sweeping the shop floor, we put hard work into all the tasks at hand. I am always willing to learn as I have participated in many of the company's training opportunities. As part of my job role, I also perform onsite lifting equipment inspections and occasionally lend the onsite riggers a hand.
