Currently, my main responsibilities are as a reviewing engineer and a project manager. Since February 2014, I have been working as a Project Manager as well, where I handle project supervising, communications with clients, financial overview, assignments and time allocation. I became a professionnal engineer in March 2015, and I am currently a member of APEGNB and Engineers Nova Scotia. I took on the responsibility of Health & Safety Representative for our office, in June 2013. With field experience and engineering knowledge; I provide training, answer questions and research industry and government standards, to reduce the inherent dangers of our industry.Working as a Engineering Associate for Varcon Inc., I have acted as a technical resource to complete analysis and design projects, and as a field resource to complete maintenance and inspection projects. Since July 2012, I have taken a more significant role working on more complex projects, reviewing others works, providing advice and training.

With a group of geomatics technicians and surveyors, I worked to integrate the existing OTF positioning system into a new datum, with the objective to ensure proper and easy aids along the St. Lawrence River. My tasks included GPS monitoring, surveying, and data analysis.

Acting as the first contact for incoming travellers, I completed a primary interview and a secondary inspection. Quick and correct decision making and problem solving were required to ensure the processing adhered to the laws, regulations and standards that govern the CBSA mandate.This work was completed while ensuring public, traveller, office and personal safety.
