PhD at CAPTE research group under the supervision of Pr. Frédéric Baret. The PhD is funded by Arvalis (French Technical Institute for wheat, maize, potato and flax.) with a CIFRE grant.- PhD topic: The challenge of robust trait estimates with Deep Learning on high-resolution RGB imagery.- Arvalis’ Trait modules: Development and deployment of field agronomic traits from UAV / robots/ camera: wheat head detection, disease quantification, mixed crop phenotyping.- Research Projects: Grants writing. Management of 5 interns during three years.- Key sucesses: ·Global Wheat Head Dataset: Coordination of the largest international, open source Deep Learning database for wheat head counting, involving 10 countries and 16 institutions.. 2 Data challenges were organized in 2020 and 2021 on Kaggle (2235 competitors) and AIcrowd (441 competitors). ·Teaching: 1st International Training School for Young Scholars (Nanjing, 2019), AnaEE Summer school (France, 2021)

We are addict at Jugaad, especially for agriculture. Jugaaddict is creating connections between "jugaad" or "frugal" entrepreneurs in emerging countries and potential partners. Our motivation? Looking for ingenuity and efficiency to change our agricultural system.Year 2016 in numbers:- We have studied 6 countries in Asia and Africa (India, South Africa, Kenya, Senegal, Thailand, Vietnam)- We have analysed more than 100 innovations, from the farm to the fork. - We've delivered our study "Toward an ingenious agriculture" and workshops to our partnersOur project is supported by experts like Navi Radjou, who is the author of the best-seller "Jugaad Innovation: think frugal, be flexible".

Selected as "Entrepreneur d’intérêt Général" (Civic Innovation Fellow for French State) to work for the Chief Digital Officer on the digital transformation through new uses of Data.Exploration of new uses with creation of Proof-Of-Concepts; - Management of datavisualization platform data.afd.fr - Implementation of Machine Learning experiments (Recognition of land use, Bus stop classification, sensitivity of an area to risks)Support of operational projects - Support of AFD’s strategy in Conflict and Crisis area (Sahel, Syria) - Monitoring of project through satellite imagery - Support to design mapping of artisanal transport in Accra (Accra Mobility)Data Workshops to increase Data literacy of employees.

- Working for the Image and Pervasive Access Lab (IPAL) and the BII Machine Learning group for Bioimage analysis- Design of a learned, non-linear image filter to denoise video of in-vivo cells. This allows way higher performances for detection tasks. Applications in medical research.- Funded with Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA)

Wandercraft is a French start-up located in Paris. The goal is to design, develop and produce a lower body exoskeleton enabling disabled people and elderly people suffering from mobility deficiencies to walk again.- Definition of a communication program for medical partners.- Identifying and approaching potential buyers.- Contribution to the commercial strategy (Business model, Target market identification, Sales volume modeling, etc.).
