During this internship, I was at the heart of an international transport company, getting vision on the whole activity.I was in charge of the Innov & Go challenge, 2016 edition. This challenge is an initiative taken by the RATP Dev's direction board. Its goal is to promote innovation from subsidiaries of the RATP Dev Group, and also to enhance the replication process of those innovations.Along with the project manager, an operating expert, I was in charge of :•Tracking and animate this challenge troughout the 75 subsidiaries (Europe, America, Asia, Africa),•Creating and distributing all necessary documents, such as the director's and the entrant's guide, the executive summary and the application forms, •Creating and publicating all news to promote the challenge on the intranet (Teaming up with the communication dpt), •The collaborative platform created especially for this challenge, with all the 75 subsidiary directors and the 9 country directors. I had to animate this community, posting news on the tracking of the challenge, as well as the innovation topic in general.The second part of my work was to prepare the award ceremony. This task was realized along with my tutor, the direction committee and many country directors. I was integrated to the method and design team, who is in charge of the creation and reservation of train paths for its clients. The first interlocutor of this department is the ancient RFF (now SNCF Réseau), which is the state owned company in charge of managing the railway network in France.My tasks were: •To get well integrated in the team, as it was my first real working experience, and to understand what was the work awaited from every one of my colleagues. •Present a weekly report to the direction board, with visual tools like graphs and dashboards of the past week activity. It allowed me to better my Excel, PowerPoint and Word abilities.•The last month of my internship, I had the chance to participate in the creation of train paths, and to negotiation with the ancient RFF. I also had the chance to learn about the transport economical field, especially the railway freight one as it is the heart of this company's activity.
