Etienne Maurice is a filmmaker, actor, designer, and wellness philanthropist. A Los Angeles native, Etienne has turned his passion for the arts into purpose through his commitment to communal healing and creative wellness.Compelled by the persistent racial and social injustices suffered by Black and Brown communities, Etienne recognized an urgent need for healing and founded WalkGood LA, a non-profit organization, in June 2020. Etienne works alongside hi to curate nurturing spaces through mindfulness and movement practices, and create healing environments.Etienne also serves as an ambassador for one of the world’s leading athletic brands, On and recently designed the WalkGood x On shoe capsule for the brand. He is also featured alongside Michael B. Jordan in Propel fitness water’s ‘Propel Your City’ Campaign, which supports fitness communities across America.Empowered by his personal experience of surviving gun violence and mental health challenges, Etienne is committed to guiding more people of color towards mindfulness practices and nurturing resilience, while honoring his late Jamaican grandmother’s encouragement to ‘Walk Good.’
