Daily tasks included; establishing new relationships, identifying opportunities, compiling offers on land and S.106 schemes, working up projects, securing internal approvals, leading consultations with planners and community groups, negotiating contracts, and managing schemes through the delivery phase to ensure they were assimilated into the business successfully. Whilst in the role I also contributed to a corporate project to review the Council's approach to personal development and undertook a fundamental review of the Council's Housing Allocations Policy. This was conducted by working closely with elected Members to review and reshape Council practices in response to legislative changes and to ensure that social housing vacancies were allocated in a fair and consistent way.
