The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) is a London based global enlightenment organization committed to finding practical solutions to today's social challenges. Founded in 1754, it was granted a Royal Charter in 1847. It promotes the development of a principled, prosperous society and the release of human potential.

• Acquired, edited, and published fiction and non-fiction books, including "Mata Hari's Last Dance" by bestselling author Michelle Moran, "Vintage" by David Baker, "The Sleeping World" by Gabrielle Lucille Fuentes. I also worked on books by bestselling authors Philippa Gregory, Ian Caldwell, Lisa Unger, and J.A. Jance, as well as critically acclaimed works such as "The Incarnations" by Susan Barker. • Supervised reissues of backlist titles and managed the publication of proprietary editions for corporate clients, including "The Magic of Thinking Big" by Dr. David Schwartz (which has sold more than 6m copies to date), and the 60th anniversary of "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers" by notable sci-fi writer, Jack Finney, for which I secured a foreword from leading thriller writer, Dean Koontz. • Read and evaluated proposals, cultivated relationships with top literary agents, and pursued potential projects.• Created profit and loss analyses, acquisition memos, and contract proposals for new projects.• Wrote descriptive copy for book jackets, sales copy aimed at corporate buyers and digital retailers, and tip-sheets with metadata and key selling points for upcoming titles.• Presented each of my titles at regular launch meetings within the imprint and to the larger sales force.• Supervised editorial interns.

• Facilitated the production of fiction and non-fiction titles across both imprints.• Routed book assets through editorial, legal, and production teams on schedule.• Set up new titles from contract proposals, and updated book specifications as necessary.

• Coded, input, and ran statistical analyses for various research projects (including projects on interventions for domestic violence in army families and quality of care HMOs provided nursing mothers in urban and rural areas) at the department of Community Medicine.
