Born in 1976, he started his photography journey as his father's apprentice at the age of 12. In 1996, he started his education in Fine Arts Faulty Photography department at Dokuz Eylul University, in Izmir. With his final thesis named 'Allanoi, Water and Grief', he completed his education in 2000. During his education, he worked as a Culture and Art Reporter at "Gazete Ege" and served as a photography editor at "Nisan", the arts magazine.In his career he became a part of lots of projects and workshops. Since 2003 he is working as a co-founder in Pozitif Studio Photography & Film Agency.
