For the last 20 years I've been involved in transportation and shipping with KPMG. After starting and developing my career in Moscow, I was attracted to the warmth of Asia to my further professional growth. My work within shipping sector in Singapore tends to cover audit and assurance engagements.Our shipping group contains specialists in different areas, such as tax, valuation, restructuring, compliance, etc. and could help with any practical issue.Being experts in shipping industry, we help our clients with accounting, tax and advisory challenges, presenting KPMG as 'the clear choice' for them.New areas for which we see a significant interest from shipping sector are Sustainability reporting and specifically ESG reporting.My clients for the last eight years, since coming across to Singapore, have all been mainly from the following sectors: Dry Bulk, Chemical, Product, Crude Oil and LPG tankers.As a Russian living in Singapore, you may not be surprised that I head up the Russian desk for KPMG in Singapore. Whilst the Singapore/Russian trade routes may not be very developed at the moment, I am still called upon from time to time to help with Singaporean businesses wanting to do business in Russia or vice versa. I am fluent in Russian and English.
