At DoorDash, I led the Growth team during an important inflection point in the growth of the company. Our team owned social login, ads, promotions, and referrals systems that accounted for 20% of user acquisition growth in 2018. I was the point person on our engineering team and worked with our cross-functional product/design partners on development of these systems.In the web space, I created the first versions of tools that web developers use across DoorDash, as well as the initial telemetry, tracking and alerting that provides visibility into our web systems as we scaled in 2019. I also developed early versions of the testing systems for our web application that was an early detection system for outages and took us from multiple outages per week to near-zero.I was the maintainer of and led development on the checkout experience on doordash.com. I led large-scale data and product migrations of the checkout flow and was involved in architecture discussions, code review, and product design decisions across multiple teams and verticals.
