I am a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with proven leadership, extensive corporate finance experience, and deep subject matter expertise in the Consumer Finance industry. Having worked for a leading multinational financial services company in both the US and across Asia for over 15 years, I have developed a truly global perspective and appreciation for diversity throughout my career. I am also a critical thinker and a motivational leader with strong business acumen and a consistent track record in driving decision-making and achieving optimal business results. I thrive in environments where I can act as a key business partner and knowledgeable adviser to the senior-most leaders of an organization to effect change and achieve company objectives.I first joined American Express in 2006 in New York and subsequently relocated to Hong Kong in early 2010. During that time, I have taken on increasingly broader roles and areas of responsibility to my current position as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, JAPA supporting the Global Consumer Services Group (GCSG) business unit.Working closely with a number of senior business leaders across American Express' global organization, I lead my team to provide financial perspective, drive strategic insight, and make financially-informed decisions and recommendations across a broad range of key business initiatives, investment decisioning, planning and forecasting, and other corporate finance functions. My scope of responsibility includes American Express’ proprietary consumer card issuing businesses in Japan, Australasia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and India, as well as American Express' licensing and network businesses across Greater China, North Asia, ASEAN, and Australia. I lead a team of diverse finance professionals located across six of American Express' major offices throughout the Asia Pacific region.Prior to American Express, I worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in financial advisory consulting and Overture Services in corporate development and M&A. I graduated with a BA in Economics from Pomona College and hold an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. I am also a CFA charterholder.
