Through a varied seafaring career, I have attained experience in watchkeeping, bridge procedures and a wide variety of practical skills.I enjoy the outdoors and regularly undertake activities including hill walking and sailing. I also enjoy travelling and have been fortunate enough to visit many remote parts of the world, including the Falklands and Everest Base Camp. A highlight for me was crewing a yacht that sailed from New Zealand to Uruguay via Cape Horn.
