My name is Euan and I am currently a BSC Accounting and Management student at Bangor University. I have a keen interest in the business world, especially in the areas of finance, strategy, and leadership. I enjoy learning new things and applying them to real-world problems. Furthermore I am proficient in Microsoft Office pack (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, Windows, Mac and Google Pack.Currently, I am building on key skills within my chosen modules such as strategic management accounting, financial accounting, personal finance and banking as well as economics. I am able to utilise knowledge from these studies to complete complex financial or management accounting activities as well as having a broad understanding of business management techniques. I have learned how to analyse, interpret, and communicate financial and non-financial information, and how to make informed and ethical decisions in a business context. Having this knowledge, I now feel ready to illustrate and expand my skills in a more practical environment.My goal eventually is to pursue a career in an area more related to management as I find it more interesting, and to use my skills and experience to help businesses and organisations achieve their financial and strategic objectives. I am looking for an opportunity to gain some work experience with a real firm, where I can apply what I have learned and learn from the best. I am also interested in pursuing further education and professional development, such as a master’s degree or further qualifications.
