As a Professional person I have a desire to succeed in anything I do.Well trained in many aspects in my industry and always willing to learn new things,I am a family man with many interests outside of work.I’m a friendly approachable person who had been brought up with manners and believes in old fashioned values,I take pride in my work and mentor my colleagues to realise their full potential.Operations SupervisorColus Limited2020 to PresentAfter a successful spell as a supervisor within the company my manager rewarded me with a chance to get into the operational side of the company,My day to day role was first of all finding solutions to problems that were out of my control from the schedule I had sent out on the previous evening such as changing teams to cover absences and contacting clients with ETAs if there were any delays to the start of any of my teams shifts,I would take part in daily meetings discussing clients and revenue targets from week to week and would communicate with my managers over any concerns I had,We would set up service diary’s for our fleet and would make sure any equipment that needed to be calibrated was sent for testing making sure replacements were available so there was no disruption to my teams the same would go with any plant or electrical equipment,I would have a team under me looking after any items I had in storage and would keep check with them,We received completed work from crews on site and made sure that it was all processed to the highest standard whist doing so updating client SLA’s and KPI’s.I would complete a weekly glide path working towards revenue targets and identifying where crews can be improved or rewarded.Clients would get in contact with me to build quotes for works that they needed, this would vary from basic surveys to large cleanse and survey schemes.I would log all of my workings via my laptop and am well versed in excel and word documents,I generally managed the department of 30 site staff with the help of a small team and the guidance of higher management.Unfortunately due to the contract being non viable after mobilisation due to unforeseen circumstances my crews we’re TUPED over to lanes for drains,I currently work as a site agent for Colus and have recently completed both site safety supervisor and management training to enable me to manage teams of operatives on larger client based sites most recently being the surveying, cleaning and renovation of a stretch of highway on the A11 In Norfolk for Morgan Sindall.
