Sr. Materials CoordinatorResponsible to liaison between Project Material Management, Procurement, Field Engineering, Project Controls, and Construction. To implements the Project Management Plan and to ensure all materials are available before the Construction Start Date. My function spans from material requirements planning through the issuance of materials to construction in the field. To review and approve FMRs and issue MWRs. Using BPS Look Ahead Viewer (LAV) application which brings together Engineering data on Takeoffs, Bill of Materials and Requisitions, Procurement data on purchases, expediting activity, transportation activity, Construction data on work packaging that allocate materials with ROS (Required On Site) dates (3 weeks, 6 weeks & 6 months) and do the MWRs (Material Withdrawal Request) to ensure availability of materials before the Construction activity begins. Updates the Materials Assignment Schedule (MAS) to complete the list of Long Lead materials and equipment which will be purchased for the Project consistent with current construction progress to understand and influence the supply chain cycle that support materials flow including lead times and any logistics constraints. To attend meeting between Construction Team and Subcontrator Team and to interact directly with Planners, Engineering, Purchasing, Expediting, Warehouse, Inventory Control and Construction Managers to ensure materials flow to construction. Material Coding Specialist – responsible to assign unique stock codes for each items that does have existing stock code. Coordinate with Field Engineer (Requester) and Purchasing Buyer to ensure the specifications, size, material type, etc. are specified in the full description.
