About Eugene Begue
Currently a Software Engineer for Valtech. Previously a Full Stack Developer at the Office of Distance Education and eLearning at The Ohio State University. I have 2 years experience with the MEAN stack, but in the last 4 years have primarily used React.js, SQL and Amazon Web Services at work and in my personal projects.At Valtech, I have mainly been utilized for backend work. Specifically, my sub-group is in charge of setting up and scaling the largely Docker-based VMs that run the services that support our applications (Node, Mongo, RabbitMQ, etc). I also have intermediate level experience with a subset of Azure Cloud Services that we use for streaming and analyzing large-scale data analytics for said applications, as well as Apache's NiFi.I am not currently seeking new employment, but am always interested to hear about new opportunities!
