Currently working as Database Analyst for INTUIT Data Services which includes –• Database Maintenance/Analysis in Quickbooks Windows/MAC Accountancy Software; Database coded in SQL; Sybase Central was used to connect to the Database of the Company File ;SQL editor was used for diagnosing/editing/repairing database by manual SQL coding; Merlin was used to manage/analyze the company file • Data Migration between Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online(Online Applet). The Database for Quickbooks Online(QBO) is coded in XML. XML file was edited using Sublime, validated using XML Validator; Conversion from QBO to QB Desktop necessitated fixing errors in XML file. • Conversion from Third Party Accounting software to Quickbooks Desktop; Manual Conversion from Sage/Peachtree software to Quickbooks Desktop. Accounting data was exported from Sage/Peachtree into an Excel file. The Excel file would be analyzed,managed,re-formatted manually and imported into Quickbooks Desktop.• Networking set-up for multiple users of the Quickbooks Software for simultaneous operations in a company file; Called multi-user mode, involves setting up the database manager in the Server computer which has the company file and setting appropriate port numbers in each system. Virtual Machine was used for all of the above tasks. Configured Windows 7, XP VMs based on product requirement. Knowledgeable in basic troubleshooting of network/shared resource/memory and processor/display configuration issues in VMs.Admin Triage Duties included incident management and collection, manipulation and analysis of data(productivity of each agent, workload, work distribution among agents, status and numerics of all cases assigned to agents, relay of client responses to concerned agents etcetera) and creation of reports based on the above. Support Engineer/Consultant for McAfee Antivirus Software. • Damage in McAfee software(wide range of Antivirus/Antispam products for MAC and Windows) was mended with specialized software tools after remotely accessing the client’s computer.
