I have worked in various business to business sectors and have extensive management experience. I started with IBM in marketing and sales in the ICT sector (amongst others in outsourcing). After my ICT period I switched to the machine manufacturing industry and became managing director of Stork Brabant, the world-wide leading textile printer systems manufacturer. Subsequently I worked for Heijmans as managing director in the construction industry (infrastructure and real estate) and industrial engineering and services (especially in the oil & gas, chemicals and power sector). Within DHV I started as director of the business group Building & Industry, after which I became managing director of DHV Netherlands BV. I ended my career with Royal HaskoningDHV in the position of Business Line Director Buildings (2012 - 2015). After a period of 8 years in engineering consultancy I have changed to the property and construct business. With effect of September 1st 2015 the Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed me as managing director of the Dutch operating company BAM Bouw en Vastgoed. BAM Bouw & Vastgoed consists of BAM Bouw & Techniek, BAM Woningbouw and AM. August 2016, I have been appointed CEO of Sweco Nederland and member of the Executive Team of Sweco Group. Sweco is the leading consultancy engineering company in Europe with 17,500 passionate professionals planning and designing the cities of the future.My experience is especially in the field of strategy, marketing, sales, people management, restructuring and change management.
