I am a very detailed, structured and organized professional. I began my accounting career as an inventory control clerk and with encouragement from the Controller of Aztec Chemicals in Elyria, Ohio I entered the local community college to pursue a degree in accounting. I worked during the day and went to school at night and found this to be a benefit to my studies. I learned practical application to technical situations. My capabilities and satisfaction in my private sector job, directed me to seek a career in public accounting. After passing the CPA exam, I began my own practice in 2008 in Punxsutawney. I enjoy helping people manage their businesses from a financial prospective. Being in a small town such as Punxsutawney, I have found working with small businesses very rewarding by helping them grow and prosper. I find that each small business is unique and their issues and dynamics are just as important as the concerns of big business only I can deal with them in a more personal and professional atmosphere. I can give them the services and consulting of a Chief Financial Officer without the overhead cost of having a CFO on staff.
