Knitting and woven RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Deadline driven and have the ability to work independently. The active sheet is excel sheet to track all the samples that is produced every month. Update daily tasks on the active sheet include the update of all design request that is currently busy with and close all designs that been produced. Update SAP and copy design files to international server. Create Terrot file and save with design. Checking of samples for faults before product is sent to clients. Making technical drawings for jacquard knitted CAD-system (EAT, Ned graphics system).converting a design consist of redrawing the entire design in new format. Convert designs from TL ,BX and DS to DS,TL and BX OR any combination listed. The designer must also insert weaves that is compatible with the design, that include the weight, colour and quality of product. When client sends sample that needs to be duplicated (matched) the designer must scan the fabric in, piece the repeat and draw it. Thereafter convert repeat to format that is requested (TL,BX,DS). Create repeat, re-draw and step it out. Create weaves or insert weaves from library to match design. Perform tasks in the local Development & Sampling team when required. Keep in communication with overseas designers, eg HQ in Belgium(Bekart Deslee) for update on training. Also required to travel for these training when necessary (at the moment it is done online).
