Systems development and Support expert, Eugene Marais has led a number of successful development, installation, upgrade and support projects, with an emphasis on improving information systems efficiency and availability within the financial and telecom sectors. He has received numerous awards throughout his career, ranging from Top Employee of the month awards to having a project receive a Common Wealth award (Adopting a mainframe system using Natural Lightstorm). He also received numerous awards for system improvements, and was also responsible for many “firsts” in the IT Industry – he developed one of the first Mainframe systems to automatically send out official letters in all the official languages.
