I am a VoIP engineer with over 10 years of experience.My experience can be divided into the following stages:𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟬One year of work as a network engineer in a big bank. Here I got acquainted with VoIP and decided to dive deep into it. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟭I spent the first stage working for a company integrator of VoIP solutions based on Asterisk.During that period, I created a great number of office PBXs and call centers of different sizes and complexity.Along with my key responsibilities such as- PBX creating;- PBX supporting;- PBX auditing;I dealt with troubleshooting of:- SIP/RTP- networks- serversLater on, I concentrated on developing:- autoinformers;- interfaces for generating various reports;- different modules extending PBX functionality such as missed calls automatic control, service quality assessment, personalized advertising during MoH, etc;- integrations with different kinds of software like apps for taxi services and internet providers billings;- integrations with crm-systems;𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮The second stage is associated with Wildix company. The level of responsibility has increased dramatically as the changes I am working on are automatically delivered to dozens of thousands of PBXs.Initially, I was focused on dialplan development (a big project written in Lua) and related logic. The provisioning system for all the variety of our devices (IP phones, pri/bri, fxs/fxo, gsm, etc) was included in this project as well.Subsequently, I drilled deep into Kamailio (kamailio+asterisk+rtpengine+coturn):- developing and supporting Kamailio main configuration script;- debugging of sip signaling;- debugging of webrtc;- debugging of media-related issues;and other challenging things.𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟯To be continued... :)Products: Asterisk, Kamailio, Rtpengine, Coturn.Programming languages: Lua, Python.Protocols: SIP, WebRTC, STUN, TURN, ICE, RTP/SRTP, DTLS, IPv6.Tools: sngrep & tcpdump, Homer, Wireshark, Kibana, Nagios, Ansible, sipp, git.Linux: Ubuntu/Debian, Centos.
