Worked on job from the start of the project to the finish. (Building a 4+ million dollar Snack Shack @ Culver Military Academy).Complete wood framing (some over concrete), was acting foreman on job until finished. Had to read blueprints and do all custom roofing, and door tasks, along with teaching apprentices who are working with me. Had to solve any complications that arose and ensure job stayed on track and budget. Took role of superintendent when he had personal issues to deal with, (including but not limited to) figuring daily tasks for workers on the job, and assigning them ( all trades ), picking and running morning safety meeting with signatures, making sure workers complied with all personal PPE equipment ( I am about 100% safety first on any job I run.) doing final checks on all work performed ( periodically thru day too ).Collecting and making sure all company tools and items were put away and locked up ( along with property) before leaving.tracking all hours, people, materials of the day.

Travel to multiple job sites to make sure work was being done to company and customers standards.Would figure material and workers list and have materials dropped on site before the crew got there.Made sure everyone was having a safety first attitude and wearing all there personal PPE, and using any additional safety equipment as needed per job.Talk with customers continually untill job was finished and they walked around and made sure they was happy with the scope of work done.Would take pics of all work before during and after to be able to show customers how things are going and/or show them additional things that needed to be done after we opened up projects ( rotting studs, sill plates, trusses, ect.)Make sure jobs were done on a timely manner in keep in time frame that was agreed upon (without extras).Keep logs, records and receipts for company management.Make sure job sites are cleaned up daily for customers and their families use.Hire potential workers and let workers go who are not able to do the scope of their work.Train potential job fireman's to know how we (company ) wants them to be like and get done.I'm sure more that I'm not remembering at the moment.

Payloader operations with recycling plant watching and checking alarms that go off on tablet(in payloader).Check equipment, grease and fill with fluids.I'm the morning I would go over scales to calibrate them and then it would be time to startiving materials that are coming out of the plant to there pre determined spaces.In between that I would unload cars off trailers coming from scrap yards and fill trucks with assorted metals and garbage while keeping track of all weights and measurements.Would take fresh cars and put holes in the gas tanks and drain them into proper containers with the loader and stack them buy line to be ready for the shredder.Would run excavators with shears or tall cab grappling claws when supervisor would ask me for help.Would do maintenance on not only my loader, but any other heavy equipment that needed work and then work in the garage for at least 5hrs sometimes 8 or 9 a day( sometimes a couple hours outta the day. but usually after the 8hr loader shift.In winter I went in hour or so early so I could plow parking lot and walk ways and driveway before office or other workers and customers came in and would use not only loader but also bobcats and 4x4 UTV with plows and salt spreaders. would also start other equipment on colder days so they would be warm when guys come to run them.Would replace or repair anything needed from lights to hydraulic lines or cylinders to engines, fuel pumps, pins, water pumps, radiator, ect. Log all things done to show what I spent my time doing.sometimes would have to stay and do fire watch for the shredder pile ( in case of spontaneous combustion! ) many a night till 11pm.

Here are some of the things I did, but not all!Change heads, and fix, and program multiple plc, and other types of automated machines. Installed new machines as they came in according to specs. Tested, programmed and made sure they was up and running before sending an employee over to run it. Repair or replace any plant problems with buildings, weather it be lights, doors, openers, alarms, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or roof leaks as needed.Read blueprints or schematics for any machines that was running to do the required maintenance and preventative maintenance.Made sure all air compressors, lines and connectors was cleaned and cleared daily.Checked all hydraulic motors, line and connectors weekly to assure they stay running with minimal down time ( If needed ). Assisted Maintenance Manager when needed for any project he was working on ( to not only learn what I don't know but to physically do all I could for him cause he was 67 )! Ran any and all equipment needed for any work being done like forklift, scissor lift, welders, lathes, planners, ect, along with multiple power tools.

Did hail storm damage sales from leads and door to door.Talked with potential customers about their roof and/or siding that was damaged in the hail storm that came thru there town and got them to agree for our company to do any emergency repairs and write up bid for job and meet with there insurance adjuster and if approved would have crews come due there work in a timely manner.Figure out materials for job and have them delivered along with dumpster before crews come.Travel by multiple job sites that are going on that day and make sure they are to company standards with customers satisfaction.

Operated multiple heavy equipment machines including but not limited to excavators, dozers, backhoes, cranes, payloaders, bobcats, ect.Drove dump trucks, semis n 53' lowboy and dump trailers on and off road for excavation services.Dug basements, ponds, lake edges (installing lake wall) septic systems and land relocation and renovations.Use laser leveling systems with man and machine attachments for digging multiple projects.Installed first bed septic (test) system in Laporte County, Indiana and it worked better than expected and was passed by the inspector which let more be installed in the county.Maintained all excavation equipment and fixed any and everything like motors, hydraulic pumps, fuel pumps, flow plugs, ect.
