The Global Open Innovation department in CTO works across LG Electronics to foster innovation through strategic partnerships, joint development, investments (direct and fund), and inorganic growth leveraging our direct offices in Korea and Silicon Valley and our extended LGE and LG network across the globe. Our mandate is to look outside for collaborative growth and drive synergies between external companies and our well-established and emerging businesses. This goes beyond standard technology sourcing and market intelligence gathering, focusing on working actively with the global ecosystem of talented entrepreneurs, researchers, and world-class partner companies and academic institutions to drive innovation and transformation together.
