Responsible for the transformation initiative of the bank's business systems. I advised and strategized on matters relating to bank systems, strategies, and development / delivery methodologies. I planned a project for the replacement and restructuring of bank systems (numbering in the hundreds) to modernize certain platforms and systems to be more competitive in the current market.Lead the development of strategies, projects, and proposals focused on developing and deploying transformative, business-critical, customer-facing, software solutions throughout the fifth largest bank in the world. Oversaw onshore and offshore software engineering, testing, and support teams. Aligned multidisciplinary engineering and administration resources to the organization’s operational and technical requirements.

As a technology manager and consultant, I advised on matters pertaining to finance, human resources, procurement and budgeting in relation to technologies like ERP, cloud (SaaS), etc. I executed and managed implementation and upgrade plans for Oracle systems. In addition, I provided IT strategy for the design and architecture of systems, infrastructure, and business processes for organizations. Managed complex software development, upgrade, and support activities for custom software as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like PeopleSoft and other product suites from Oracle, SAP, Workday and Salesforce. Managed technical staff throughout the planning, design, build (coding), implementation and support efforts, delivering high-quality products and services for distributed computing environments.Oversaw the transformation of software, technology platforms, and business processes. Lead software engineering teams charged with developing new custom software, processes, architecture, and solutions to modernize technology and improve business agility. Developed custom PeopleSoft applications and solutions to improve operational and technical efficiency of customers’ business processes and technology platforms.

As the principal and senior developer, I developed all customizations to and maintained the PeopleSoft platform. I also implemented many other technologies for HR and finance, and I integrated them to the PeopleSoft platform. Examples include integrating Cybershift and Success Factors to PeopleSoft using various technologies like web services, ETLs, and the PeopleSoft platform itself. Additionally, I implemented, supported, and spearheaded many supporting technologies like PGP encryption, FTP and LDAP authentication to drive business process improvements. Principle technical lead for the PeopleSoft HCM, Finance and other software engineering platforms• Led the upgrade from PeopleSoft version 8.8 to 9.1 for HR from planning to deployment and was responsible for all coding, defect resolution, and SIT testing required for the project. I was a senior developer, developing all customizations to the PeopleSoft platform. In addition, I was responsible for driving business process improvements and managing regulatory compliance (SOX) related to PeopleSoft HR.

As a developer and subject matter expert (SME), I supported all HR efforts and technologies including recruiting, benefits administration, recruiting, payroll, and core HR. I developed, supported, and configured many customizations and business process improvements for the PeopleSoft platform and other HR technologies like Kronos Mercer Prism, ASP, etc. I also performed a few implementations and upgrades of PeopleSoft, taking the lead in a few of the efforts. Also, I had the opportunity to integrate PeopleSoft to many different applications and vice versa, like with such systems as Kronos, Org Publisher, and others. Additional responsiblities included the administration of the PeopleSoft infrastructure and architecture, maintaining the Weblogic web servers as well as the application, report, and database servers. I was also involved in the SOX compliance efforts and server hosting provider switch.
