Benheck Marketing was established to serve as the exclusive sales and marketing agent for used capital equipment for a South African mining group. I was responsible in the startup company for sales services, project management, marketing management, financial management, risk management, strategic planning and analysis, organizational design, business development and customer relationship management. Accomplishments included the negotiation of the first sale to a foreign client and the project management, financial structuring and financial management of an innovation initiative, which resulted in the purchase of a capital asset from an incident, which was repurposed and resold which created returns in excess of 500% for the project.

I was accountable for contract management, project managing cross-functional teams for the delivery of new aviation assets and services, negotiation on contractual aspects of new aviation asset deliveries, support in the preparation of proposals, market research, business development and for continuous business improvement and innovation projects.I stream lined the processes of working with third party aviation suppliers and established new criteria for vendor selection. I joined Eurocopter a multinational aviation manufacturer to lead and manage a project team to access the feasibility of establishing a new aviation training business unit. The project relied on close collaboration with the South African CEO, CFO, Financial Manager, Commercial Manager, Chief Pilot, Maintenance Manager and international collaboration within the group.I was responsible for project leadership, project management, financial modeling and analysis and for developing the assessment methodology, which included quantitative, qualitative and strategic management criteria. I was also accountable for the management and leadership of market research projects, mentoring subordinates, training subordinates and responsible for market insights about economies, airports, infrastructure, strategies, clients, and governments.Accomplishments included the on time and on budget delivery of all projects, development of a market reporting system and a competitor-benchmarking dashboard.

I was responsible for delivering management accounting reports to management for this international aviation leasing company, for executing financial accounting tasks, maintaining databases and for the quantitative analysis of the data.
