Defining events include a serious disciplinary process regarding a potential expulsion and support for a cross agency Financial Literacy programme. I was also Chair of the Council's Regulatory Committee 2011 to 2013, a period of widespread and significant changes to the New Zealand financial services sector. We established: a new Insurance Handbook; an overhaul of the Fair Insurance Code; changes and new rules in the face of legislative changes for prudential supervision, financial adviser rules, dispute resolution referrals, anti-money laundering and intermediated insurance roles and responsibilities .
