As a freelance engineer I offer engineering support in early stages of development. Multiphysics mechatronic systems are my speciality. Ranging from system definition and design to prototype development and analysis. I have developed products for the Automotive, Medical and Industrial markets .I have been active in mechatronics and system design since 1994. I started my professional career in the automotive sector, I had various engineering positions in Holland, France and Germany. From 2001 until 2018 I worked in the medical device development. Starting at Dräger Medical I became active in the development of Home Car Subacute Care and emergency Care ventilators.in 2010, I founded, together with 4 former collegues, the company Macawi Medical Systems, providing engineering services and OEM respiratory system components.Macawi was acquired by Demcon in 2013 and I worked there in the role as senior system engineer until I left in 2018 to become an independent engineer. Specialities: creative and pragmatic hands-on product developer.Technical generalist.Specialist in development of pneumatic systems and pumps.Skilled in the use of CAE (Solidworks) and System Development Tools (MATLAB/Simulink/rapid control prototyping)
