My roles and responsibilities include:• Providing income tax, indirect taxes (GST, WorkCover, stamp duty, land tax, payroll tax), capital gains tax - in particular the small business CGT concessions, superannuation advice.• Providing advice in respect to the legal structure used in setting up a new business, or acquiring property or equity investments.• Due diligence in respect to business acquisitions.• SMSF establishment and contribution. Providing advice in relation to limited recourse borrowing arrangements, off-market concessional and non-concessional contributions involving business real property and listed securities.• Estate planning including assistance with drafting wills and advice in respect to testamentary trusts.• Providing advice regarding transition-to-retirement income streams, account-based income streams, binding and non-binding death benefit nominations, reversionary pensions.• Working with non-profit entities including private ancillary funds, foundations, incorporated associations. Assisting with fund establishment, compliance with governing rules, and ACNC requirements. Report requirements in respect to donations and distributions, and investment strategy establishment.• Business development: bringing in new clients, providing value-added services to existing clients. • Developing a personal, professional network of financial advisors and lawyers. Developing strong relationships with bank contacts, mortgage brokers, insurance specialists.
