About Eugene Kwan

Eugene was formerly senior counsel to Stikeman Elliott LLP. He was a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Group in Vancouver. As well, he was a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Group. He also practiced in the area of government relations. In addition, Eugene advised clients on matters relating to First Nations’ issues and has previously represented many First Nations groups in British Columbia. He has had extensive experience in advising offshore investors making investments in Canada. He was formerly a partner of the firm and managed the firm’s Hong Kong office before leaving to join the Hutchison Whampoa Group, a client of the firm, as a senior executive responsible for M&A in the telecommunications industry focusing on Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Eugene retired from the firm on December 31, 2014.
