My second love.And…You know how much of a headache and complex marketing can be? Well… what I do is create simple and easy to implement results-focused marketing plans. In fact, I consulted with a recent client of mine—another small businesses owner—and their sales are double of what they were last year.Although I don’t have the actual numbers in front of me right now. So forgive me, I’m currently writing this from my phone right now.Anyways…My job usually consists of developing a simple and clear strategy that my clients can execute themselves… I do offer completely done-for-you solutions though.Every now and then I’ll take on a copywriting project—I prefer to sell my own stuff to my list.Now for the fun part.Growing up, I would of never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be a marketer. I mean I always had a knack for selling stuff. But marketing and me is a funny story.But it helps when you have, a mentor that has traveled the road your on.So boom 👏🏾💥 story time…Back in 2016, I had this idea to sell hoodies. At the time I had no experience besides promoting my music on MySpace in 2008.I started with teespring, set up an Instagram business page and Facebook page. I starting making content and posting 3x a day. I went from 400 followers to 5.7k in roughly 3 months.Then I started running Facebook Ads.I went from no sells to a weekly average of about 46. I was selling them for $20 a pop. In my mind — I was moving on up.And around the summer of 2016 I got into AWEBER and email marketing. I found myself buying lists and selling my “5 Day Water Diet” that I created.You remember 2016 don’t you? Back when Bitcoin was the price of a regular stock, and not a life changing decision, lol.Next thing I know, I was getting a few DM’s from people asking me how I was doing it. I started showing them — they started paying me… From that point I was pretty much social media consulting in my local area.I learned so much from actually doing it for others on a daily basis.Marketing just fits my personality, I’m a BOLD person.
