As in-house corporate counsel, performed the following tasks:1) Legal liaison with Conrail, Amtrak, CSX Corporation, Norfolk Southern Corporation, New Jersey Transit, Delaware Transit Corporation and East Penn Railroad on operational and real estate matters and with the Federal Railroad Administration and Federal Transit Administration on regulatory matters.2) Developed contracts and real estate documents (conveyances, leases, easements, entry agreements and railroad title opinions) for real estate, operations and engineering departments; was in-house counsel for the SEPTA Parking Lot Task Force which found land to expand parking at commuter rail and transit stations; and represented SEPTA before the Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment for real property construction projects.3) Legal liaison with utilities, including Exelon/PECO Energy Company, Verizon, Philadelphia Gas Works, Philadelphia Water Department, Aqua America and various cable and fiber-optic companies, and with governmental entities, including the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the City of Philadelphia.4) Lead counsel on cases before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.5) In-house counsel on environmental law matters including the Paoli Railyard PCB case, the Reading Company PCB case and the Berks Associates (Douglassville Superfund Site) litigation and in-house legal liaison with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.6) Chaired the Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) Group Steering Committee and served as an active member of the Technical Committee in the Lancaster Battery Superfund Site litigation. 7) Legal liaison with in-house and outside counsel on litigation involving numerous contractual and claims matters.8) Legal liaison with Records Management team to classify historical railroad real estate and contractual documents.

In support of Valuation cases (arising from bankruptcy of northeastern United States railroads), researched real estate documents to determine quality of title to railroad lines conveyed to Conrail.
