I started work as general labor for an independent stamping facility and worked through all departments (shipping,quality control,production,secondary operations) until I was offered a Tool and Die apprenticeship. I served four years as an apprentice and received my journeyman's card. I continued working for the company for seven years acting as supervisor to the apprentices and as the primary welder. I went to the community college for general studies and took drafting (AutoCAD) classes. I went back to school in 2006 for design and drafting classes. I earned an Associates Degree in Computer Assisted Drafting and Design.Specialties: I have experienced most aspects of manufacturing from ordering raw material, layout and machining, and development and design of tooling and parts.
