I was able to observe the courtroom: watching the discourse between barristers and solicitors from behind the front bench. Everyday in the courtroom varied highly depending on whether it was a trial, sentencing, pre-records or a hearing. With access to the judge’s commentary as the proceedings unfolded really added to the value of my experience and gave me invaluable insight.
